Regular exercise is one of the best things you can do for your health and can provide numerous benefits by helping manage your weight, lowering your blood pressure and cholesterol, strengthening your bones and muscles, protecting against chronic disease and much more. That's why we're encouraging everyone to find opportunities to incorporate physical activity into the work day.
Once a day, once a week or even once a month, try taking a walk during the lunchtime hour. Walking during the day can give you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Mississippi springtime, catch up with co-workers, or simply take a break from your normal work routine to refresh your mind and body.
Just 30 minutes of walking each day can have a great impact on your overall health. If finding 30 minutes of time is a challenge, try three 10-minute bouts of walking at different times of the day.
