Free Resources to help you reach your goals
Other goals of the Let’s Go Walkin’ Mississippi school program include:

  • 85% of the student body walks a total of 5,000 minutes over the course of the school year
  • Students walk at least a total of 30 minutes per school day, which is consistent with the requirements of the Mississippi Healthy Students Act.

When your school joins the Let’s Go Walkin’ Mississippi School Program, you’ll receive many free resources to help you achieve these goals.

We have developed a simple web-based tracking tool to track minutes walked by the students in your school. In addition to the online tools, you’ll receive a free stopwatch to help you track your progress, as well as a promotional poster and door hanger to let everyone know that your school walks! And if you have any questions about the program or online tracking application, you’ll have access to free program and technical assistance from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Mississippi.
